Skittles Color Play

This week's candy challenge inspired me to try something I have seen in the photography forums.  This effect is created by pouring boiling water on skittles. Someone bumped the table while the color was forming but it still made a cool rainbow effect.  Below are the original candies.  Taste and see the rainbow!

My daughter is now used to me asking her to pose for me. I had to sneak up on her to capture this photo without her noticing. She was reading a story to her "class."

This week's challenge is to take a photo inspired by the color red.  The lighting in this theater was not the best but I feel like I captured the essence of red with this organ.
